In short: ChaseCard finds and alerts you to Pokémon card listings on other marketplaces — we don't sell the cards ourselves, we're not a party to any purchase you make, and our alerts aren't advice. Credits and subscription benefits are non-refundable once granted. Read on for the details.

1. Who we are & acceptance of these terms

ChaseCard.app ("ChaseCard", "we", "us") is operated by Luke MacKay-Morris and Thomas Lee, based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account, applying for the beta, or otherwise using ChaseCard, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a ChaseCard account or make a purchase through the service. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. The service

ChaseCard is a price-tracking and alerting tool. We monitor listings on third-party marketplaces (currently Vinted and eBay) and pricing data from third-party sources (currently PokePulse), and notify you when a listing matches criteria you've set up as a "Watch."

ChaseCard is not a marketplace. We don't sell, list, hold, authenticate, or ship any cards. We're not a party to, and have no responsibility for, any transaction between you and a third-party seller or marketplace. Whether and how you act on an alert is entirely your decision.

4. Your account

  • You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person. Accounts aren't transferable.
  • Your @handle, once set, is permanent and can't be changed — choose carefully.
  • Tell us immediately at hello@chasecard.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Subscriptions & Credits

Subscriptions

  • Paid tiers are billed monthly, in advance, via Stripe.
  • You can cancel any time from your account settings — there's no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
  • Subscription benefits (e.g. increased Watch slots, faster check rates) are applied immediately on purchase or upgrade, and are non-refundable — including on cancellation.
  • When you cancel, you keep your paid-tier benefits until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account automatically moves to the Free tier — you're never charged again after that.
  • We may change subscription pricing going forward; we'll give you reasonable notice before any change applies to your next billing cycle.

Credits

  • Credits, Watch Tokens and Boosts ("Credits") can be purchased directly or earned through the service (e.g. referrals, daily streaks).
  • Once purchased or granted, Credits are non-refundable.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, sold, or redeemed for money — they can only be spent within ChaseCard.
  • We may retire or change what Credits can be spent on, giving reasonable notice where practical.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory right you have under UK consumer law that we cannot lawfully exclude — see Section 9 below.

6. Acceptable use

To keep ChaseCard reliable and fair for everyone, you agree not to:

  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying data, source code, or business logic of ChaseCard's website, app, or API;
  • Access ChaseCard's systems or API other than through the interfaces we provide, or circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or usage restrictions;
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to create accounts, harvest data, or interact with the service, except where we've explicitly provided an API for that purpose;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide commercial access to ChaseCard's alerts, data, or your account to anyone else;
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service's infrastructure;
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes anyone else's rights;
  • Attempt to obtain Credits, wallet balances, or subscription benefits through fraud, exploits, or chargebacks.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section — see Section 11.

7. Third-party marketplaces

Listings shown or linked through ChaseCard originate from third-party marketplaces (e.g. Vinted, eBay) that we don't own or control. We do our best to keep listing data accurate and up to date, but we can't guarantee that a listing is still available, correctly priced, authentic, or as described by the time you view or act on it — that's determined entirely by the third-party marketplace and seller. Any purchase, dispute, or issue arising from a third-party listing is between you and that marketplace/seller, under their own terms.

8. Intellectual property

The ChaseCard name, logo, software, website, and our own aggregated pricing data and analysis are our property (or licensed to us) and protected by intellectual property law. You may use them only as part of your normal use of the service — you don't get any ownership rights by using ChaseCard.

Pokémon card names, images, and related trademarks belong to their respective owners; ChaseCard is an independent price-tracking tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, or any marketplace we monitor.

9. Disclaimers & liability

ChaseCard is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular:

  • We don't guarantee that alerts, prices, or listing information will always be accurate, complete, or delivered without delay or interruption.
  • Alerts are not recommendations or advice to buy, sell, or otherwise interact with any listing or marketplace — that decision, and any resulting outcome, is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
  • We're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on ChaseCard's data, or from your dealings with any third-party marketplace or seller.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChaseCard's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law (including your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

10. Beta Program

The ChaseCard beta is an early-access, pre-launch programme, run in numbered phases (e.g. "BETA #1"). By applying for or participating in any beta phase, you additionally agree that:

  • The service may be unstable, incomplete, or contain bugs — features, pricing, and availability may change or be removed at any time, without notice.
  • Participation is at ChaseCard's discretion, from the moment you apply through to the end of the programme — we may decline an application, or suspend or end a participant's access, at any time and for any reason.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChaseCard is not liable for any loss, data loss, downtime, or issue arising from your participation in a beta phase.
  • You must join and remain active in our Discord server for the duration of the programme — that's how we handle feedback, updates and support during a beta phase, and inactivity may result in your access being revoked.
  • Beta access does not guarantee you a permanent account or any particular subscription tier once the phase ends.

BETA #1

  • Runs for two weeks, from 1–14 September 2026.
  • Account data created or changed during BETA #1 may be reset at the end of the programme. We'll endeavour to retain win data, but this isn't guaranteed.
  • Participants are given a randomly assigned tier role and Credit allocation for the duration of BETA #1. After BETA #1 ends, these reset — every participant's account returns to the Free tier, and any Credits granted for the programme are removed.
  • Any loyalty reward, discount, or benefit for having taken part in BETA #1 (if offered at all) is entirely at the discretion of the ChaseCard team — participation is not a promise of any future reward.

Everything else in these Terms applies equally during a beta phase.

11. Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings, or by emailing hello@chasecard.app.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:

  • You breach these Terms (including the Acceptable Use section);
  • We reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a chargeback on your account;
  • We're required to by law; or
  • We discontinue the service (see below).

If we discontinue ChaseCard entirely, we'll give you reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. Intellectual Property, Disclaimers & Liability, Governing Law) continue to apply after your account is closed.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the service evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use ChaseCard after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
